Watercolor Exercise

Above show the different techniques used with watercolor. The first six images used tape to make the shape. For the next two rubber cement was used to create a solid line and shape. Following that, rubber cement was used to help avoid the watercolor from splatter everywhere and to help maintain the shape. The next two show different ways that the colors combine — first is when both colors are wet, and second is when one color is wet and the other is dry. After those, the next one illustrates what it looks like when I mix two colors.thr exacto knife was use for the two blue squares — one was when the paint was stil wet and the other was after it had dried. The others show how the colors fade and mix, and an example of the use of stamps. These are just a few of the techniques used for watercolor.
