Paper Bag – Perspective and Value

Throughout this assignment I learned ways to apply perspective and value to art. The whole picture was not to show how well we can draw a paper bag, but how we are able to apply the two techniques. As you can see the bag has different values — light, dark, and in between. Also the bag is not 2D, this shows how perspective is used on the picture. All of the sides of each object goes back to a vanishing point. Both value and perspective relate to each other because they add dimension to the art piece.
Not only did we have to have the paper bag, but we also had to add voice. As you can see my voice is shown through my soccer shin guard and my book. The shin guard represents the sport I love and play and the book represents my interest in learning new things. Both of them add voice to the bag.
